Before the incident
Participating in water rescue drill. Crossing the [REDACTED] at [REDACTED]. The water was about 3-4 feet deep while crossing and lots of wet slippery rocks and holes in the river bottom that you can 't see from the top.
What happened
As the firefighter was crossing he stepped into one of the holes and his foot slipped off the rocks. He felt a twinge in his low back but continued with drill which consisted of setting up a rope system across the river and pulling on a raising system they devised.
