RT went to perform ABG collection on patient. When he stuck her arm the patient jumped resulting in needlestick with dirty need to RT left index fingertip. He had barely punctured skin when patient jerked her arm. RT squeezed out blood from puncture site and thoroughly washed hands with soap and water
