assessing a noisy bearing

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] the maintenance supervisor along with other techs was on the upper level of the LMS observing and listening for loud worn rollers. He crouched down near the incline portion of the LMS to hear a noise coming from some idler rollers. After identifying the noisy bearing he was repositioning himself to come away from the LMS. When he moved his hand he touched the incline belt and it pulled his hand into the roller in between the belt and the roller causing his right hand to get wedged between the idler roller and the incline belt. The techs immediately stopped the LMS and the supervisor pulled his hand out of the pinch point area. He did seek medical and will update when more updates are available from the doctor.
