Attempting to move a desk

What happened

We were moving the supervisor 's desk to the middle room at about [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] in order to store it since they now have a stand up desk. We took it through the custodial room and then realized it would not fit into the middle room door. We lifted it up to try and flip it in order to fit through the door but we realized it was not going to flip either way. So we decided to set it set it back down. Once we set it back down the desk came slightly apart and the top of the desk smashed my finger and I was unable to get it out. Employee ran to try and pick the top of the desk back up and I was able to pull my finger out. I looked down and the blood was steadily coming out and I realized my nail was cut in half. I instantly got dizzy and started to feel like I was going to pass out. Co-worker then helped me to get in front of the fan to cool me off until I felt better. Once I felt good enough to walk we were instructed to go to the urgent doc and get it checked out.
