What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] management at Monroe CT Post Office was notified by the City Mail [REDACTED] at route C-003 that he was bit by a dog while delivering mail at address [REDACTED]. Animal control as well as medical services were notified at the scene. Supervisors arrived shortly after at the scene. [REDACTED] had bite marks on his knee on his left leg. [REDACTED] Animal Control department officer was at the scene along with dog sitter. Shortly after [REDACTED] was transported to St. Vinvcent Hospital in an ambulance where he was treated for his wounds and was discharged at around [REDACTED].
