Decending stairs at [REDACTED] toward the end of steps

Employee had exited the building after attending the required faculty meeting. Employee states that he and a new-hire fellow employee were walking down the steps together having a discussion. Employee was carrying a small bag and tote. As he approached the end of the steps he suddenly lost his balance and fell forward striking both knees against he concrete steps. He felt like it was attributed to the slight change in the depth of the steps and spacing as he thought he may have mis judged the steps as the descended. Mr. [REDACTED] felt that his left heel extended a little further than it should have causing his weight to move him more forward as if you were anticipating a step that wasn 't there
