On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] employee was delivering mail at [REDACTED] employee stated he opened both mailboxes to start his deliveries. Soon after the boxes were opened he stated that the top box came off the hinges from the wall and struck them in the back of his head. employee stated that he called fire recruit because he started to feel excruciating pains in the neck as well as the point of contact from the back of his head.
