What happened

On [REDACTED] employee informed me she was filing a CA1 on eComp for an injury she said happened the [REDACTED]. She said that while working in the Automation section a jam occurred on [REDACTED] 6. She said that while attempting to remove the jam her hand slipped off and her hand struck the plastic guard on the underside of the tier above the one upon which the jam had happened. This she states injured her pinky (5th) finger. She claims to have not thought much of the event and continued working. On [REDACTED] at around [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] she says she was working in 321 walking off non-machinable packages and kept bumping into things and hitting her hand on a wire container. It then began to swell. She says she continued to work but told SDO that she would be going to see her doctor who put a splint on her finger and gave her pain meds and sent her to get an X-ray. The X-ray found no damage and she was returned to work with restrictions of usage of her left hand.
