What happened
City letter carrier with 6 years of driving experience was driving LLV on a dry clear and sunny day when the axle wheel fell off (wheel still attached) causing him to run into the curb. WHen he hit the curb it jarred his neck and he went to the ER. Vehicle damage was to the wheel and possible ball joint issue per VMF. Carrier stated that this was the third time this has been turned in.
