What happened
Carrier was Delivering along LOT on rural route to a steel mailbox which he has delivered many times in the past. The carrier attempted to drive away while he was still going through the process of servicing the mailbox. He had not even closed the door yet as he started to speed away from the box. Being in such a hurry to leave the box and not being focused on what he was doing he didn 't get his arm in the window fast enough before he started to drive away. Since the box lid was made of heavy steel he caught his arm on it an severely cut his arm. He is seeking medical
