Rural carrier reported a dog bite to supervisor on duty around [REDACTED] on [REDACTED]. Carrier claims she was delivering a parcel at [REDACTED] to the customer 's front door when the dog fled through the open door and bit the employee on her right thigh and right calf. Mailbox and package box is located on residential street for the purpose of mail package deliveries. Dog warning signs posted on customer garage door. Regular carrier on her own route disregarded all tools available to her to avoid animal interference and decided to do a door delivery.
