Before the incident
Worker was collecting trash on the roof with a trash bag. Then asked to join other employees to move a generator over an expansion joint approximately 10 in height.
What happened
While attempting to move the generator over a 10 inch high expansion joint. Another worker lifted up on the handle of the generator pinching workers left hand middle finger tip.

A nondisplaced distal tuft fracture and partial amputation of the left hand middle fingertip.

Coworker inadvertantly lifted up the handle of the Wilco WL 12000HE Generator with the 4 wheel dolly option with handle pinching workers left hand index finger between the handle and handle mounting bracket.
Summary line
Nondisplaced distal tuft fracture and partial amputation of the left hand middle fingertip when moving a generator and pinching his finger with the handle.
