I am an RN who was vaccinating employees for influenza. We thought we had finished with all employees at this location so we packed up our supplies and got ready to leave.
What happened
One other employee decided to get the vaccine prior to leaving so I administered it to her. The sharps container was already packed away so I attempted to recap the needle and stuck myself.
