EMS crew was responding to a higher for a MVC. Crew was going lights and sirens down [REDACTED] blvd.

As EMS crew was approaching the intersection with a red light the ambulance came to a stop left was clear the civilian truck on the right came to a stop. Ambulance continued moving forward towards the intersection as the ambulance approached the center a civilian vehicle came in last second. The civilian vehicle tried stopping EMS crew tried stopping. The ambulance struck the civilian vehicle on the right side. Both civilian vehicle and ambulance were pushed towards the corner of the intersection. Air bags did not deploy for the ambulance. The civilian vehicle air bags deployed. EMS crew stepped out to administer aid to the civilian who had a quarter inch abrasion above his right eyebrow. FDNY appeared on scene took the civilian to the hospital and the EMS crew that was involved in the incident was taken to the hospital by different Northwell EMS crew.
