Employee was helping the nurse give a bath and putting an abdominal binder on patient.
What happened
Employee was helping the nurse give a bath and putting an abdominal binder on the patient. The patient closed his arm onto employee hand as she was trying to close the abdominal binder she tried to release her hand when the patient firmly grabbed her index finger and pointed it directly backwards and a popping sound was heard. The nurse then had to try and release the patients grip from the PCT 's finger as she yelled out. Finger was released after nurse pried it open.
