As the employee was drawing weather curtain there was a quick dip. The employee reached out to grab assist handle with left hand. They tried to use their right hand to grab right side of the galley to make their way to the jump seat. Turbulence increased. The employee went down to their knees and held on. They woke up the next day and felt pain in left shoulder and mid back.
