IE was performing work related duties in the silo room when their right thumb became caught and pinched in the cap of the blue pump due to the vacuum suction. IE was attempting to resolve resin back-up in pipes due to an issue. IE was unable to turn off the vacuum until receiving assistance from another team member that shut down the pump eliminating the suction and allowing the thumb to be released
