IE struck their left hand on the A-side winder while performing normal work-related packer duties on SW9 on [REDACTED]. IE reported injury and pain to supervisor that found no visual signs of trauma or swelling to left hand. IE returned to work finishing their shift although pain to left hand did not subside. Upon return to work on [REDACTED] IE had visible swelling in left hand and stated pain in the middle of effected area. IE was driven by POV for further medical evaluation and diagnosis
