Before the incident

pulling beltloader up to aircraft and stepping out of the drivers seat

What happened

Stepped off the belt loader with my left foot after bringing the equipment up to the aircraft. When stepping down I felt a sharp almost electrical pain in my foot which shot up the left side of my ankle leaving it numb and with a pins and needle like pain. The pain is persistent and walking on the foot agitates it.
