Clearing end jam from pusher

Jam in liner 2-2 line work. Employee shut off liner and inspected linework to investigate problem. Jam was located between two pushers. Employee utilized a stepped platform to perform the work. Worker was approximately 8 ft off the ground. Employee used a pry bar to pull back on the ends to relieve tension. When doing that the worker lost grip of the ends which slammed back to the starting point. This occurred due to the stored energy that was in the linework.
