Tipped container of mineral spirits

On [REDACTED] a team member placed a down stacker on a cart for cleaning with a container of mineral spirits. They lifted the down stacker off the cart which was stuck to an absorbent pad which tipped the mineral spirits that was not closed but they thought it only spilled on the floor. [REDACTED] they felt a burning sensation in their upper thigh. They went to the bathroom to investigate and it hurt more when exposed to air. They told the supervisor they were going home to shower. After the shower it was still very painful and they went to the emergency room. They were given hydrocortisone and Silvadene and were told to stay at home and keep the area open to air to make sure there was not additional irritation. Spoke with the team member and they said the affected area is approximately 4 palms wide. If symptoms subside and there is no infection they are cleared to return to work on [REDACTED].
