Clearing double ends under down stacker

Team member was working on [REDACTED] 7. They had the down stacker raised with the lift motor and were sliding the safety block into place. The lift motor failed which dropped the oil filled 2 lane down stacker. The backup spring loaded safety latch was not fully extended and the down stacker crushed the end of the team members right finger on top of the safety block. Another team member rushed over and was able to lift the down stacker enough that their finger could be pulled out. Team member went to the emergency room they were instructed to not return to work for a week. A follow-up appointment is scheduled for [REDACTED] to evaluate the finger after the swelling goes down. Investigation ongoing for improvements that can be made. Fitness for duty paperwork completed on [REDACTED] 13 25.
