What happened
While performing a setup on [REDACTED] the Operator ended up pinching the tip of his finger between the part and the pickoff collet. He chose to go to the CDH Emergency room instead of Physicians Immediate Care where the wound was bandaged and he was given a tetanus shot and a pain shot. He was released and scheduled for an appointment with a hand specialist on [REDACTED] which reported that no treatment was given though he was given a referral for Occupational Therapy.
Injury or illness
An avulsion of the left index finger. The tip of the finger was fractured and cut. No stiches were required. Only Occupational Therapy was prescribed.
