Before the incident
In [REDACTED] the EHS Maintenance Specialist had a laceration on their right pinky finger while installing 6 ductwork for a new piece of equipment on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] The Team Member was attaching the duct to the vertical strut mount and removed the cut resistant gloves in order to gain dexterity to install a 5 16 nut While installing the nut the pipe slipped in the clamp and the elbow slid down to his hand The outside of the duct fitting unintentionally came into contact with his hand and the sharp seam lacerated his right pinky finger
