Operating a side loader to lift a skid off a vertical rack.
What happened
The employee was using the side loader to lift a skid but instead of following safety rules he took a shortcut. The employee decided to work on the material in a narrow aisle instead of moving it to a safe area for processing. While doing this he fell while trying to walk on the side loader 's forks. To break the fall he used only his right arm causing a strain in his right shoulder.
