Before the incident

She was setting up the meal cart getting ready to serve our guests

What happened

EE was pulling the meal cart from the housing in the galley and it caught on the carpet in the back. She tried several times to get it over the carpet but her hand slipped and her thumb got caught causing a lot of pain. The handle on all of the carts is very small and has a narrow place to put your hand for maneuvering.
