Before the incident

The FA had finished up ensuring that the cabin was prepared for door closure.

What happened

When leaving SFO the FA was working the A position. When it was time to close the L1 door she let the agents know and she went to close the door. She held the proper handles and unlocked the gust lock. While she was pulling the door in she realized that she needed assistance and the agent was far away and was not able to help. At that point she continued to close the door and armed it.
