employee was getting patient ready to perform CT scan

ER Patient was sent up to [REDACTED] with a CT technologist on a Cart patient is 277 lbs. RN in the ER said the patient could ambulate by himself. Patient has a total knee replacement [REDACTED] and was able to stand but not pivot. He felt unstable. We sat the patient back onto the Cart to do a bed transfer instead. Patient was not sent to [REDACTED] on a [REDACTED]. ER said it was not needed since they said he could ambulate. Slide board was used for transfer with 2 people there were not any other staff members in [REDACTED] MRI that could transfer the patient. [REDACTED] matts are not stored in DI because we have been told that they should be sent under the patient already for Imaging procedures from the patient 's original location. After the lateral transfer with the slide board my lower right back SI joint area became very tender and hurting. I did not feel a pop or anything
