Moving a 35pk of water bottles from a pallet to a shelf

What happened

I had 35 pk of Wegmans and had to move it from the pallet to the shelf for a customer. When i was picking up with my hands the plastic covering broke and as a result it strained my back when trying to recover to make sure the bottles didn 't fall.
