EMPLOYEE PICKED UP A SOILED NEEDLE THAT WAS USED TO INJECT LIDOCAINE MARCAINE AND KENALOG. HE DID NOT REALIZE THAT THE SAFTY PROTECTOR WAS NOT ENGAGED. HE WENT TO PLACE IT IN THE SHARPS CONTAINER AS HE WENT TO LET GO OF THE NEEDLE IT GOT CAUGHT ON THE CONTAINER THEN HIT THE CONTAINER BOUNCED BACK AND STUCK HIM IN THE LEFT THIGH.
