Before the incident
Picking and breaking down cardboard
What happened
EE was breaking down cardboard boxes and went to move their pick cart out of the way. A small sheet of cardboard had fallen out of one of the cases being broken down and the EE stepped on it. Their right foot slid backwards while they were stepping forward causing a pulling in their right hip. EE reported the incident to their lead right away and called the nurses hotline. Nurse hotline advised to seek care at urgent care. EE went to urgent care in the AM on [REDACTED]. Urgent care suggested “RICE” and home exercises to help with range of motion. APF was given to Supervisor.
