when withdrawing the hub got stuck on the wristband of the patient

when drawing the pt as i was pulling the straight needle out of the pts arm the hub part got stuck on the pts wristband and while trying to make it unstuck i dropped the needle and it landed on the top of my foot. it was a straight 22g needle.
