Before the incident
EE was finishing delivery at Stop & Shop. When going through plastic curtain into the trailer to get invoice from printer EE 's vision was obstructed by the plastic curtain causing him to step into the space between truck lift gate and loading dock. His R foot dropped into space striking R lower leg into the lift gate then sliding down. R foot followed. EE caught himself with arms on back of trailer. EE experienced immediate discomfort. Once he stood up he noticed abrasion on R shin along with swelling and discoloration. EE also noted same in R leg. EE notified store manager and coke supervisor right away. EE also noted a numbness in his L foot while returning to sales center.
