Before the incident

[REDACTED] was pushing down a clean case cart down the small ramp in-between the hand care center OR and heart lung OR when the cart started to veer towards the wall and when [REDACTED] attempted to stop it the cart smashed her hand in-between the cart and wall. The cart had no defaults and was working correctly just started to drift quickly when going down a steeper ramp. As soon as the incident occurred [REDACTED] started icing the injured hand told me and was sent to the ER to check for any potential injuries. The hand already started to show signs of swelling and bruising. No patients or patient trays were involved this was a clean environment.
