Before the incident
just finished drawing up a dTap
What happened
I was drawing up a dTap to administer to a patient. After drawing up the immunization I tried to safety the needle and somehow nicked myself in my left index finger. It did not bleed until I forcefully pushed on my finger. After that I didn 't think any more about it. Over the weekend my finger swelled and warm to the touch. I am not able to bend it.
