placing pin in tilt cylinder behind track. hand was under cylinder and fell smashing finger.

Technician was installing blade angle cylinder on right side of a [REDACTED]. The from the front pin bore when it slipped from bore and struck the right hand ring finger pinned it between the cylinder and the blade frame below. Technician felt a stinging pain he removed his glove and noticed a cut with blood loss. Technician used First aid kit on Truck placed bandage and wrapped with tape. Technician was in a very remote area with no phone service he traveled 15 minutes till service was restored and called in. He advised of what happened service office stayed in contact with him till he arrived at shop and was taken to ER for treatment. Tech had a fracture right ring finger at very end received 4 stitches with no work restrictions.
