disconnecting patient from PCA pump

Alaris [REDACTED] pump was placed on Pause so patient could be disconnected from IV line to go to restroom and change clothes. On disconnection of IV tubing Fentanyl medication continued to pour out of IV tubing despite being placed on pause. Fentanyl leaked onto nurse and nurse reported dizziness not feeling well. Teammate was taken to Emergency Department for evaluation.
