Waiting in the OR on the patient to wake up so that we could clean up the OR after the surgical procedure was over.

I was breaking down and cleaning up another Surgical techs back table where all the instruments and supplies were that was used during the procedure. There was a sharp instrument sticking up out of the instrument pan that I didn 't see as I was cleaning up the table. The instrument caught my finger and punctured it. The instrument was used during the surgical procedure.
