What happened
while actively assisting in a case I was helping to pull traction to align the bone while the surgeon was placing the reaming rod before placing the Nail. after I release my grip hold of the traction I felt a burning feeling on my left CMC joints ( which I had a previous surgery on the same exact area done [REDACTED]. I had one plate and 5 screws in place). I had been seen by an orthopeadic resident and x-ray and splint on my left hand going up to my elbow was done.
