Before the incident
Pushing a stretcher into an elevator.
What happened
I was pushing a stretcher with a patient on it into an elevator and the elevator door closed on my elbow and caused my wrist to hyperextend and bend in a stuck position. Wrist pain occurred immediately afterwards. There was no hold door option in this elevator and the door continued to keep closing on me.
