He was cutting fascia for the gable. He was holding the fascia with this left hand and his circular saw in his right hand standing on the roof. As he was partially through the cut one of his feet slipped and as he caught himself his left hand made contact with the exposed portion of the saw blade on the bottom side of the fascia. The tips of two of his fingers were partially cut off.
