Two Maint. Techs were working in the Processing Dept. JCS room replacing a damaged overhead fiberglass ceiling tile

As the Maint Tech on the manlift was removing the damaged ceiling tile the ceiling tile slipped from his hands and then fell towards the ground. As this time the Maint. Tech that was the spotter was below realized that they could not get out of the way of the falling ceiling tile due to a tight working area. This then resulted in the Maint. Tech to quickly raise both arms hands to block the falling ceiling tile from striking their head region. Unfortunately the falling ceiling tile struck the employees left palm of their hand which resulted in a deep laceration (affected employee was not wearing gloves).
