On [REDACTED] at around [REDACTED] a maintenance mechanic was removing trash from his buggy In a slinging attempt to move trash to the dumpster the employee felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder Employee was immediately taken to medical where he was treated with ice and heat and instructed to return daily for ice and heat treatment In addition the maintenance mechanic worked with the onsite athletic trainer three times daily to perform general stretching and isometric exercises On [REDACTED] while meeting with the onsite athletic trainer the maintenance mechanic requested to seek a next higher level of care The onsite plant nurse transported the maintenance mechanic to the local clinic where he was seen by a staff physical therapist and physician where an MRI was ordered and a prescription medication for pain was given Update: On [REDACTED] an MRI was conducted with findings that required additional medical treatment On [REDACTED] the employee had outpatient surgery to repair the conn
