Before the incident
The EE was clearing hay from PM1 coater oven after a sheet break After removing the hay and throwing it out of the oven onto the catwalk the employee stepped out of the oven onto the step outside the middle oven door (14 inches from oven door threshold down to top of step step is 301 2 wide and 131 4 deep) When the employee put their weight on the foot that was on the step their foot slid out and the employee fell When they fell the back of their right glute hit the corner of the step and they twisted their body The onsite athletic trainer was called to evaluate the EE The employee expressed that they were in a lot of pain and would like to be seen by a doctor Security was called to take them to [REDACTED] occupational health When asked if the step was clean or if it had paper on it the employee said that they didnt remember any paper on the step but couldnt rule it out either
