What happened

Om [REDACTED] [REDACTED] sustained an injury to her head while working. [REDACTED] was getting into the ambulance via the side doors on [REDACTED]. She was using the grip handle to step up into the back of the ambulance to get her tablet after completing a transport when she struck her head on the door latch. [REDACTED] stepped out of the ambulance touched her head and saw blood on her hand. She denies holding anything but the grip handle when stepping into the ambulance. She denies any trip hazards prior to event occuring. [REDACTED] is currently at WMC ED awaiting evaluation by a physician. [REDACTED] was advised to complete an incident report and follow up with dispatch scheduling and human resources if necessary.
