While closing the ambulance door [REDACTED] did not notice his hand was still in the area of the door. The door slammed on his hand injuring three of his fingers between the door jam and the door. The right ring fingertip suffered approximately one inch laceration with bleeding. [REDACTED] requested to finish the standby prior to possibly seeking medical attention.
