Before the incident

Driving the ambulance making a left had turn when a 2 vehicle collision occurred.

What happened

[REDACTED] was responding code 3 to an MVC. While travelling southbound on [REDACTED] the vehicle operator was overtaking a passenger car on the left in which moment then began negotiating a left hand turn causing a collision. The point of contact from the ambulance front passenger side to the passenger vehicle 's driver 's side door. The ambulance occupants consisted of the EMT vehicle operator and Paramedic. Both were restrained in the front compartment. The passenger vehicle consisted of the female adult driver and toddler. Both were restrained appropriately. The EMS crew were transported to Lawrence Hospital ER. The passenger car occupants were transported to Jacobi Hospital ER.
