Employee was completing a repair leak.

Employee was completing a repair leak. Employee was coming down ladder after un-securing it from the roof. Ladder slipped when employee was about 5-6ft high causing both ladder and employee to fall to the ground. At the time of incident employee did not wish to seek medical attention he finished his work day. [REDACTED] employee decided he needed to go to the doctor and went to Morristown Hamblen Hospital for shoulder and stomach pain. He was transferred to UT Medical Center. Floor nurse stated that surgery for his shoulder would be scheduled for a later date and alluded that he was admitted for observation only due to broken rib.

Employee had possible fracture to left shoulder and a fractured rib.
