Before the incident
EE was attempting to place a sign on the outside of the Shipping & Receiving [REDACTED] entrance door. While holding the door open (approximately 4) with their left foot and left hand the EE used their right hand to place the sign on the outside of the door. When EE firmly pushed on the door with their right hand to hang the sign their left foot slide out of way of holding the door open causing the door to shut on their left ring and middle fingers.
What happened
EE was attempting to place a sign on the outside of the Shipping & Receiving Warehouse entrance door. While holding the door open (approximately 4) with their left foot and left hand the EE used their right hand to place the sign on the outside of the door. When EE firmly pushed on the door with their right hand to hang the sign their left foot slide out of way of holding the door open causing the door to shut on their left ring and middle fingers. Resulted in left middle & ring finger laceration stitches and left middle fingertip fracture.
