What happened
The employee was working his way from the south end to the north end of column 1 removing plywood from concrete that had been poured in previous days. When he reached a particularly stubborn piece of plywood he applied extra force to pry it loose. Suddenly the plywood gave way propelling employee backward. As he fell the plywood came down with him and a nail protruding from it struck his ankle causing him to bleed heavily into his boot.
